If you're using Windows, the default location that Native Access installs VST's if the location has not been altered is: C Program Files Native Instruments VST 64-bit Plug-ins. Be sure that Cubase is searching for this location in order for Kontakt to show up correctly. I followed the NI instruction video for VST plugins. Looked in the default folders for VST plugins. Both the 64 and 32 bit folders are in the right place, but there are NO VST plugins in either folder. Using Native Access I reinstalled Kontakt Player and Kontakt Factory Selection today. Still no VST plugins. For Komplete Kontrol it states the vst could not be found at the installed location which is correct as I moved my NI plugins into a sub folder. However, it gives the option to relocate the plugin and when I select the sub folder which has the Komplete Kontrol.dll plugin in it, it still states this folder location is not valid. VST and AudioUnits (AU) are the two native plugin formats for Mac OS X. Although there are other DAW specific formats for plugins, VST and AudioUnits are more common and compatible across various DAWs like Cubase, Logic, etc. VST PLUGINS FOR FREE Get producing music straight away with free VST plug-ins and samples in KOMPLETE START, taken from our leading production suite, KOMPLETE.Get REAKTOR PLAYER, KONTAKT PLAYER, KOMPLETE KONTROL, free effects VST plug-ins, free synth plug-ins, and sampled instruments to use in your own productions, as much as you want. Before you do, make sure the Content location in Native Access’ Preferences window is the same folder where all your other Native Instruments libraries are located.
